蚝面 Oyster Noodle

Located at Jalan Trengganu (near Penang Free School) is a Chinese restaurant called Four Seasons Tea House (四季亭小食馆). It opened since 1/12/1998 and just celebrated it 10 years anniversary last year. There is a branch in Sunway Tunas as well but some say Jalan Trengganu one is better.

春卷 Spring Roll

Today, my friend and I went to the one in Jalan Trengganu for lunch. It is not crowded. We ordered one of their signature dishes – oyster noodle (蚝面) and it tastes excellent. The noodle is fried with shrimps, fish fillet, and fried pork fat (Bak Pok). Another signature dish, spring roll (春卷), is slightly dried but you can always dipped it with special sauce provided.

琵琶豆腐 Pik Pak Bean Curd

We also ordered Pik Pak Bean Curd (琵琶豆腐), which is golden-fried bean curd stuffed with vegetables and seafood.
