Each week I spend one evening jogging at Air Itam Dam. When traveling back to home, I usually have my dinner at Nan Shan Coffee Shop (南山咖啡店) at Paya Terubong (垄尾). There are many coffee shops in Paya Terubong but I prefer this place as it is more hygiene with easy and free parking.
Here‘s the Wikimapia link. If you travel from Air Itam, when you see the restaurant on your left, right before the restaurant, turn left. There is one small entrance to the back of the restaurant for more parking space. If you miss the turn, you can still park next to small river after the building.
There are many stalls in the coffee shop. Some of them are “branches” from other food courts, such as famous 炒饭王 fried rice and western food. Other foods include:
- Wan Tan Mee
- Koey Teow Th’ng
- Pork mix in bitter soup 苦瓜猪杂汤 (Recommended)
- Claypot Chicken
- Rojak
- Yong Tao Fu
- 芙蓉烧包 Seremban Baked Bun
The business is expanding. There are few new stalls recently, including claypot/sizzling noodle and 肉粹面. As a whole, compared to other places which “conquered” by ticket boy, the shop provides easy and free parking for customers, which is a plus in that area. You should give the coffee shop a visit next time you pass by Paya Terubong.
