Hello,
Argh~ another busy week :headache: When I can finished my postgraduate study? Anyway, no matter how busy I am, food also must eat. So, I took last Friday to went to Time Square again for ramens at Bukotsu Ramen House
The restaurant consists of two floors. On the first floor, you need to take of your cloth shoes and walk upstair, then lay on the floor, open your legs and…… order food. That is, it is Japanese sit-on-floor-and-eat-your-damn-food style. Be careful of sudden high-tier on the floor or else :imdead:
The shop is specialized in ramens, so I chosen Hokkaido Ramen (RM16.90++), which consists of two super thin pork slices. The dish looks small compared to the one shown in the menu.
When you order ramen, you can order some add-ons, such as Kimuchi (RM2.00), California Temaki (RM3.00), etc at half the price (this is what been told by the owner). However, if you take a closer look on ala-carte few pages behind, not all prices are 50% off. So, pick the add-on which is most valuable (You can only pick one add-on at discounted price for each ramen).
They also offered some Sake at whoppy price of RM188++. I ordered Shochu Cheese Cake (RM7.00++), which according to them there are some Shochu added to it. The cake is yogurt added and it tastes nice. Probably one of the best cheese cakes I ever tried.
At first glance, the ramen looks smaller compared to the screenshot in the menu and tastes average. With the price, there are many other choices in the island. However, the shochu cheese cake is nice. I also must thank the shop in giving me free chocolate ice-cream, but the shop owner said that green tea flavor is not free as it is too expensive. Haha~
