In conjunction with Christmas and New Year Promotion, Eastin Hotel Penang is pleased to offer you a variety of amazingly tasty International dishes. We managed to pay a visit to try out some of the dishes.
Our meal began with Cold Cut Platter including Smoked Chicken, Smoked Duck with Fruit Mousse, Seafood Terrine Jelly, and Peach to name a few. Smoked Duck with Fruit Mousse and Seafood Terrine Jelly were pretty unique in which you hardly find them in other hotels’ buffet line.
As for the main course, we were served with Baked Mussels Thermidor Style …
… Roasted Lamb Leg with Onion Sauce …
… and perhaps the best main course of the day went to Pan Fried Cod Fish Fillet with Mango Salsa – a refreshing and savoring topping best matched with seafood.
Turkey is a practical meal especially in Europe countries during Christmas season. It was told that the culture was due to cows being used for dairy whereas chickens are generally expensive during that season. It was also being influenced by one of their rulers back in ancient time who like to eat Turkey. Eastin Hotel Penang is pleased to offer you whole bird at RM280++. Advanced ordering of 3 days and minimum of 50% non-refundable deposit are required.
Alternatively, if you are in luck, you may try their Turkey Lasagna in their buffet line.
As for the dessert, we are in love with their Christmas Log Cake, Charlotte Royale, and Cheese Cake. Their cakes were moist enough to enjoy on its own.

Charlotte Royale is also known as Swiss Roll Cake and is made of jam-filled Swiss Roll as outer layer and flavored egg custard as the filling. A refreshing dessert.
Cheese Cake is sandwiched by a layer of berries yogurt, making it more delighted to enjoy compared to plain cheese cake.
