Located near East Coast Food Centre (东海岸饮食中心) at Air Itam is a newly opened cafe called Aquatic Cafe. As the name applies, it has something to do with fishes.
The owner probably is a fish lover, in which you will notice about 30 live arowanas displayed in more than 40 aquariums on two walls. It is just like an aquatic shop with the different that you cannot buy (or eat) those fishes.
The menu is mixed in which you can order local (e.g. Nasi Lemak) or western cuisine. I ordered Aquatic Cheese Baked Dory Fish set meal (RM11.50) which come with drink and dessert. By adding another RM1.00, you can get an ice-blended drink. The Dory Fish which is topped with cheeses is adequately baked in aluminium foil. It comes with some fries and a piece of bread, in which you can dip it with the hot soup in the foil. Nice and tastes good~ but it is kind of sympathy seeing fishes watching me eating their relative.
The flat white coffee (identical to America latte) has strong aroma. The coffee bean is imported and processed locally. According to Wikipedia, flat white is originated from Australia and New Zealand and is prepared using espresso and milk.
My first impression is that the concept of having fishes swimming around while eating is good. Perhaps they should customize the tanks to make it into 2 x long glass aquariums same height with tables , in which river/sea fishes of different type are mixed together, chasing around water plants/rocks/corals under blue moonlight. Customers then can sit at both side of the glass to enjoy the scene and food. The current one is more like having dinner in aquatic shop.
