Recently I stumbled upon many “golden” experience, such as “Golden Triangle” and “Golden Claypot” which I am going to share later. Hopefully there will be a gold bar for me to stumble on also.
Again, Golden Claypot shares the same fate with Golden Triangle. It has nice interior with classic-looking chairs and tables. The food, however, is not satisfactory. During my first visit, I was not introduced with any “claypot” related dish, but a pork leg rice with egg (RM6.00 Net). The host is not professional as well as he is looking at Astro’s Hua Hee Dai when taking order.
:yellow:
The pork leg rice (猪脚饭加蛋) is too salty (like simply pouring soy sauce into it). The same applies to another signature dish that the host recommend – Tofu (招牌豆腐) (RM8.00 Net). Normal restaurant can easily do better than it. The so-called signature ginseng drink (金砂煲招牌洋参茶) (RM2.50 Net) is also just an ordinary ginseng drink which can be found in most Hong Kong restaurants.
During lunch hour, I noticed only 2 tables of customers there, and another 3 tables joined in during the meal. Perhaps I know the reason why it is lacking of customer.
