If there is one word to describe Nyonya restaurant in Penang, it is – “expensive”. The portion is usually small but charged at premium rate. Papa’s Nyonya House at Sunway Tunas is no exception with price starting from RM10 (Menu available at the end of this post). Fortunately,  there is a set lunch menu which worth considering.

Located at lower ground floor of Queensbay Mall is a newly opened Isaac Toast & Coffee from South Korea. As the name applied, they serve toast with patty of your choice and infused with imported sweet Isaac Sauce which you won’t find in any other sandwich cafe. It is best accompany with a cup of coffee.

Quarter Chicken with Original Sauce

Those living in the cities should be familiar with Kenny Rogers Roasters restaurant. Its slogan: “Less fat… less salt… less calories…” may attract customers looking for healthier chicken meals. In Penang, I had visited the branch in Bukit Jambul Complex and Queensbay Mall. The one in Bukit Jambul Complex has to wait longer even though there is no customer, while the chicken in Queensbay Mall is smaller.
