Visiting Penang’s “Avatar” at Tanjung Tokong? Why not stopping by 70+ years old’s Pearl Garden Cafe 海珠屿海鲜 (GPS: 5.46404,100.30792) for some fresh and juicy seafood? Their menu is pretty limited (seriously, we don’t recall they have a menu) featuring simple cooking methods (usually salt-baked something something) with the intention to retain the original flavor of the seafood at its best.

Chuan Heang Restaurant 全香茶餐室 @ Bedong, Kedah
Chuan Heang Restaurant 全香茶餐室 (GPS: 5.73318,100.51112) in Bedong town is a Chinese Choo Char restaurant we always patronizing few years ago. It may not be the most hygienic restaurant but their dishes definitely stand out from others, including the signature Mantou (steamed bun), Thai-style pork knuckle, and deep fried baby chicken. Look for a Shell station opposite of the road and the restaurant is just on your left.

Wantan Mee @ Chee Meng Cafe, Argyll Road
For those know us well, Wantan Mee is our favorite noodle. It was one weekend morning when we stumbled upon Chee Meng Cafe (GPS: 5.42129,100.33118) at Argyill Road, George Town, Penang. Did we see this shop before? No. So, we decided to give it a try, and we had no regret doing so as it was the first time we found out soup version of Wantan Mee tasted better than the usual dry Wan Tan Mee.

101 Food Truck @ Krystal Point
As a food blogger, occasionally our eyes are sharper than normal persons especially when hungry. Recently, while having our ordinary (and boring) lunch routine, we spotted a “food truck” parked not at the ground floor, but first floor of Krystal Point, Bayan Lepas (GPS: 5.33095,100.29876). Feeling curious, we decided to pay it a visit on the same evening.
