In conjunction with the January promotion, Eastin Hotel Penang is pleased to introduce you an array of Aussie cuisine.
Food by Cuisine
Quality Japanese Food at Affordable Price
Kakuni Japin Ramen – stew pork & rich soup with noodle (RM16.80), a signature dish in Japin Restaurant. The soup was boiled with big bones for 72 hours before serving (and hence the “rich” soup). This is just one of specialities in Japin restaurant.
Christmas Buffet Celebration @ Eastin Hotel Penang
Ho-Ho-Ho, Merry Christmas! Let’s celebrate a blue X’mas with live entertainments and mouthwatering spread of Christmas dishes and the tempting desserts to round off a perfect meal.
December International Buffet @ Eastin Hotel
In conjunction with the December promotion, Eastin Hotel Penang is pleased to introduce you an assortment of premium Japanese, German, Mexican, Thai, and many other international specialties.
Oppa Teochew Style
How was your Haji holiday? Sometimes, it was hard to decide a place to visit especially when the holiday falls on weekdays. After brainstorming, we decided to pay a half-day visit to Sungai Bakap/Nibong Tebal, with main purpose to try out the famous Chai Koay (dumpling) there.
No Rice Cooker Here
Steamed Rice Noodle (RM2.50) – it was so plain that you can’t eat it on its own. Worse, no rice is provided at 王清发海鲜 Ong Cheng Huat Seafood at Bagan Lallang, Butterworth, Penang. Luckily, one of the food items we ordered was a perfect mix for this plain noodle.
Journey to Healthy Food
Finally, a vegetarian Hor Fun (a.k.a 旅人河粉 J2L Hor Fun @ RM8.90) with Wok Hey (elusive flavour from hot and seasoned wok) . Moreover, it was topped with organic vegetables. This is just one of the specialities from low-profile vegetarian restaurant at Queensbay Penang – 旅人 Journey2Life.
Bayan Lepas Comfort Zone
Ahh~ what a nice carpet. The soft and smooth carpet makes you wanna lay on carpet instead of sofas. These are just few new additions in refurbished lounge @ Eastin Hotel Penang.
Do you want my sausage?
Eastin Hotel – a business hotel that Free Trade Zone (FTZ) managers like to allocate their foreign visitors here. Seriously I never visited their cafe, namely Swez Brasserie before. In October 2012, they are having new buffet theme called German Galore so we paid a visit to it (Chef above is Kelvin, the star of the day).
Newest Tao in Town
Nope, this is not an ancient Chinese temple but just one of many decorations in newly opened Tao Japanese buffet restaurant at Times Square Penang. This reminded me that it has been a while since I returned to Times Square, particularly nothing special there and was having bad experience with a guard there for shooting photos on their building (WTF?). Anyway, let’s go!
