“Where to eat?”. “Let’s eat thai food!”. “Which thai food?”. “Thai food lah!”. “WHERE LAH!”. Having common name as restaurant name is easy to remember but at the same time hard to tell as well. Located next to Batu Lanchang’s famous market food court is a newly opened Thai food restaurant called… uh… thai food restaurant.
Ouch! We were a bit late for the sunset. The big red sun just disappeared from the horizon the moment we arrived at Lobster Village Seafood Restaurant at Pantai Bersih. Figure above shows the picture taken from the restaurant. The island on the left is the Penang island.

Don’t ask me how’s the food taste like but I can share with you my recent experience with their “Japanese & Korean” buffet dinner every Friday.
Kang Kong with Shrimp Sauce 咸虾蕹菜 (RM6.00), a specialty you hardly found in any restaurant. Kang Kong was blanched and topped with unique salty dried shrimp paste… my first encounter at Heng Kee/Hing Kee 兴记 restaurant at China Street, Georgetown, Penang.

What a juicy big bun 大包! The gravy flew out the moment I peeled the outer layer. In north region of peninsular Malaysia, you hardly see such a juicy Tua Pao ordered by almost every single table in a Dim Sum restaurant. Most people will get irritated after consuming half of it but for Ban Hong Xiang 万鸿香茶楼 in Melaka… one customer, one Tua Pao.
It had been a while since I visited Gurney Plaza. Few new shops were opened, such as Little Nyonya I previously posted and a steamboat restaurant opposite to it – Bar B.Q. Plaza, or better known as buaya (crocodile) shop due to its mascot.
Even before the wedding dinner which I was going to attend, I was pretty full. However, there was a question troubling me – what is the different between Chicken Hor Fun 鸡丝河粉 and Hor Hee 河嘻 which was sold at some stalls? I drove around and found this Embassy Restaurant 高宾茶餐室 selling it.

We had a new dim sum restaurant called Viva Dim Sum Delight (东城点心) opened on 10-Aug-2010 (Tue). It is located just next to Chinese Swimming Club in Tanjung Tokong and occupied a section in a food court called Viva (previously known as Sea Horse food court). A group of bloggers were invited for a food preview in one of the afternoons.
