It was one evening when we had an appointment at food truck corner of Chulia Lane (Lorong Chulia). As usual, we departed early to avoid traffic,jam, so early that we had enough time to visit both Kuan Yin Temple and 20 Chulia Lane Cafe (GPS: 5.41901,100.33768) before our appointment. The cafe occupies ground floor of Penang Hainan Tan Clan Association. Parking-wise, not sure about you but we were grateful that we usually found a slot along the narrow Chulia Lane.

At first, we thought the staff was stingy by providing us chili paste less than a teaspoonful, just to find out later that it was actually for our own good.
