After having dim sum at Foh San restaurant, we let our food digested by walking around. We went to Gunung Lang but it was spoiled by a government event there, in which whole place was blasted with rock music. We then went to Perak Cave 霹雳洞. It was an enjoyable place (I will post its pictures in Facebook later). After that, it was time for lunch so we decided for “Nga Choi Kai” (Bean sprouts chicken) this time.
My rich friend bought a new Honda City and would like to try long distance drive so I took this opportunity to travel down to Ipoh with my friend. We started at 5am from Penang with the purpose of arriving there early for dim sum. Since my friend was first time there, we choose Foh San 富山 as it had better environment and we arrived there at 7am.
Have you been to 1st Avenue, a new shopping mall in Penang island? If not you should visit it one day. I like their parking lots, looks 10x cleaner and safer than the mall next to it. Anyhow, today I bring you to a bus parked inside in which you can enjoy light snack before movie or Karaoke – NextStop.
Gong Xi Fa Cai :gongxi: Years had passed and some blogs had gone. I am glad that Noweating is still here to update you on food around, regardless good or bad, rain or shine, bright or dark.
Soul Kitchen… there are many reviews around so I won’t be “long gas” this time. Some said that the food and atmosphere were excellent, while some said it was too expensive. One of my friends is now a job agent. One night, I, the cheap labor felt hopelessly and asked her out for consultation on my career so she drove me to Soul Kitchen for the talk.
Ahh~ Chinese spinach in superior stock 上汤芫菜 (RM6.00), a dish in which you can only find it in above-average Chinese restaurant, and I found it in Lam Hooi Cafe 南园茶餐室 beside New World Park at Burma Road, Penang. It topped with preserved egg and anchovy.
Whoa~ freshly baked chocolate brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate sauce & cashew nut served on hot sizzling plate (RM10.00). It was the second time I visited Karaikudi restaurant and I still ordering the same item as it was too tempting.
