Chuan Heang Restaurant 全香茶餐室 (GPS: 5.73318,100.51112) in Bedong town is a Chinese Choo Char restaurant we always patronizing few years ago. It may not be the most hygienic restaurant but their dishes definitely stand out from others, including the signature Mantou (steamed bun), Thai-style pork knuckle, and deep fried baby chicken. The restaurant is easy to find as it is just located after Bedong’s traffic light if you are coming from Sungai Petani. Look for a Shell station opposite of the road and the restaurant is just on your left.

No Rice Cooker Here
Steamed Rice Noodle (RM2.50) – it was so plain that you can’t eat it on its own. Worse, no rice is provided at 王清发海鲜 Ong Cheng Huat Seafood at Bagan Lallang, Butterworth, Penang. Luckily, one of the food items we ordered was a perfect mix for this plain noodle.
Fisherman Wharf @ Sunshine Square 东海渔村海鲜餐厅
Area around Sunshine Square is a great place to work. There are many restaurants around. The only cuisines not available are “Choo Char” and dim sum. Last month, the first “problem” solved as Fisherman Wharf 东海渔村海鲜餐厅 initially opened at Bayan Lepas had opened a branch in Sunshine Square (the area where Nanyang computer shop previously opened). There was RM2 offer for certain dishes last month so we took that opportunity to pay it a visit.
