Located at Bukit Jambul, Vistana Hotel recently went through a major revamp to attract more guests. Many people, including locals, missed this business hotel probably due to location issue. Some even thought that it is an office or apartment when passing by. For me, I had been there for few times such as wedding dinner and the recent Barista coffee bar review.
If you are like me, always wake up late and do not have time to enjoy dim sum breakfast, now you have a chance to enjoy it during lunch hour. From 1-Oct-2013 until 30-Nov-2013, Golden Phoenix 金凤楼 at Equatorial Hotel Penang is pleased to offer you dim sum lunch from 12pm – 2.30pm. Did I mention that it is semi buffet lunch?
What? Another “no camera” restaurant? The door opened at 11:30am sharp so basically you don’t have a chance to snap photos before customers arrival. Anyway, we took most items to our table, decorated, snapped, and shared with you here, including this salmon sashimi which I enjoyed the most.

Quarter Chicken with Original Sauce
Those living in the cities should be familiar with Kenny Rogers Roasters restaurant. Its slogan: “Less fat… less salt… less calories…” may attract customers looking for healthier chicken meals. In Penang, I had visited the branch in Bukit Jambul Complex and Queensbay Mall. The one in Bukit Jambul Complex has to wait longer even though there is no customer, while the chicken in Queensbay Mall is smaller.
