Don’t worry, no one is harmed (including chef and the building) in the making of this photo. Just between you and me, the lounge at G Hotel Gurney is our favorite stop-by when we walk between Gurney Paragon and Gurney Plaza thanks to its cozy and spacious environment. We will either use its toilet or take a short break on its sofa before continuing our journey into those shopping malls which rarely have any bench for shoppers to rest. Now, instead of just resting your feet, G Hotel Gurney has more to offer.
Since 2007, G Hotel at Gurney Drive, Penang, Malaysia has been a well known venue for weddings. It handles an average of 70 weddings per year. Personally, we attended few wedding dinners there and our overall experience was a positive one. The waiters were attentive and the Halal food was one of the best in Penang’s hotels. Recently, we were being invited for a wedding dinner package preview session for year 2015.

Opened since 19-June-2014, Tree Bar is the new hangout spot in Penang under the management of G Hotel. Our first thought before visiting it was that it might be just a bar with some commercial snacks and beverages but it turned out that we were wrong. Not only they serve one of the best beers in town, but also some homemade bites and buns.

After posting buffet promotions in G-Cafe of G-Hotel, my friends saw the post and decided to give the Shellfish Galore theme on Monday a try. In our opinion, it was one of the most valuable themes with “Buy 1 Free 1” promotion (only for Sep/Oct 2011).
My friends asked me what kind of buffets available in G Hotel – a famous business hotel in Penang town area? I suddenly recalled that I visited the hotel recently (for food sampling purpose only) and nice PR officers passed me a bunch of documents. One of it was the promotion for Sep – Oct 2011.
